Tri Rivers Musculoskeletal Centers Welcomes Two New Physicians


Tri Rivers Musculoskeletal Centers, a leader in musculoskeletal care, is pleased to welcome two new physicians to its clinical team.

Eric A. Chen, MD, an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in total joint adult reconstructiom, will join the Hip and Knee Reconstruction team at Tri Rivers. Dr Chen performs robotic-assisted hip and and knee surgery, partial and total knee replacements, including the anterior approach. He also performs complex revision of hip and knee replacements. He serves as the Director of Anterior Hip Surgery at UPMC Passavant and will see patients at both the Cranberry/Mars and North Hills locations.

Dr. Chen earned his medical degree from Drexel College of Medicine, completed an orthopedic surgery residency at SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital and most recently completed a residency in adult reconstruction at NYU Langone Health.

Chen Cui, MD, will also join Tri Rivers as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist. Dr Cui will provide fluoroscopically guided injections for pain as well as other treatments for back, neck and hip pain, spinal disorders and pain associated with neurological conditions. Dr. Cui will see patients at BHS Crossroads Campus, Cranberry/Mars and North Hills locations.

Dr. Cui earned his medical defree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, completed a residency ibn Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Southwestern and most recently completed a Pain Medicine Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics.
